Bummer Deal, Dude.
I had one of the best interviews of my life last week. I thought for sure I was gonna get the job. The reason I wanted it so much is not because the job was great or it was in a good location, it was because they were gonna start me at $15.90 an hour. Which I am totally worth.
I got the call today from the HR chick explaining that I was severely over qualified for the position, a tier 1 tech support gig for a domain registry. She explained that I did so well on their preliminary assessment testing that I would become very bored with the work that the job offered.
I tried to explain that I would count the lines on notebook paper all day long for that kind of money, but to no avail.
Bummer.
So, now I have to get a job that I will get bored at anyway but for no more than $9 or $10 bucks an hour. Wonder if I’ll ever find a job I actually like.
